Prior to opening her own office, Christina was a staff attorney with New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and Public Counsel in Los Angeles where she represented clients in complex civil rights and land use matters. She won landmark litigation, including securing the rights of nearly 1 million New York City public school students to be free from toxic light fixtures in over 2000 public schools. She has been at the forefront of challenging cities’ illegal and inhumane treatment of their residents experiencing homelessness through section 1983 litigation.
Having started her legal career as a union-side labor lawyer in Chicago, Christina has fought for workers’ rights to be free from workplace discrimination and unlawful wage and hour practices. Her skills and experience include having represented fortune 100 companies in commercial litigation and international securities transactions as an associate with Baker & McKenzie, one of the world’s largest law firms. Christina also has extensive experience representing communities fighting for equitable and environmentally responsible land uses.
Christina received her B.A. from University of California at Berkeley and her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, Chicago. Christina is a member of the California, Illinois and New York bars and is licensed to practice in their state and federal courts. When not representing clients or advocating for social justice, you will find Christina hiking the peaks of Yosemite, skiing Alta, sailing in Mission Bay or surfing the reefs of La Jolla .
